You may not use our utilities to distribute malware, automate denial-of-service, or violate applicable laws.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or utilizing the Codeflips website, its developer tools, parsers, formatters, and related web utilities (collectively, the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").

If you are using Codeflips on behalf of an enterprise, company, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you possess the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not agree to all provisions of these Terms, you may not access or use Codeflips.

2. Description of the Service

Codeflips provides free web-based developer utilities designed to format, transform, validate, and obfuscate various data formats and code languages (including JSON, CSV, YAML, XML, HTML, Pug, CSS, Tailwind, SVG, JSX, cURL, and JavaScript).

The Service functions by loading static assets into your browser environment where client-side JavaScript and WebAssembly algorithms process your input payloads. The Service does not upload your code to remote application backends, require account registration, or impose artificial daily limits.

3. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership

Your Content Stays 100% Yours

We claim absolutely zero ownership, title, copyright, or licensing rights over any source code, configuration files, vector paths, data payloads, or strings that you paste into Codeflips, or any transformed output you generate using the Service.

All trademarks, logos, design systems, layouts, brand assets, and custom source code comprising the Codeflips website itself (excluding third-party open-source libraries) remain the exclusive property of Codeflips and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

4. Permitted Use & Commercial Rights

You are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable license to access and use Codeflips for:

  • Personal, commercial, freelance, and client development projects.
  • Enterprise software engineering, internal infrastructure scripts, and data migration workflows.
  • Educational instruction, academic research, and computer science study.
  • Open-source software maintenance and contribution.

Outputs generated with Codeflips may be incorporated into proprietary commercial applications without attribution or payment of royalties to Codeflips.

5. Prohibited Conduct & Misuse

While we maintain an open and permissive service, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:

  • Malware Distribution: Utilizing our obfuscator or generators to produce, encode, or distribute ransomware, spyware, Trojans, or unauthorized exploit code.
  • Infrastructure Abuse: Launching automated denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, scraping our edge distribution networks at excessive frequencies that disrupt availability for other developers.
  • Deceptive Framing: Embedding Codeflips within iframes on third-party sites in a deceptive manner that misrepresents the tools as your own proprietary service without attribution.
  • Violation of Law: Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable export controls or local laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")

Codeflips is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

While we strive for maximal parser accuracy, AST fidelity, and compatibility with prevailing specifications (such as RFC 8259 for JSON or W3C specifications for XML), we make no warranty that our conversion results will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your specific use cases. Developers are solely responsible for independently verifying and testing code transformations before deploying them into critical or production environments.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Codeflips, its creators, maintainers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, production downtime, system disruption, or bugs arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

8. Open Source & Third-Party Software

Codeflips is proudly built upon exceptional open-source libraries (including Astro, React, CodeMirror, Tailwind CSS, PapaParse, js-yaml, and others). Each underlying open-source library is distributed under its respective open-source license (such as MIT, Apache 2.0, or BSD). Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the applicable licenses of these upstream components.

9. Service Modifications & Availability

We reserve the right to modify, enhance, update, or temporarily pause features or tools on Codeflips at any time without notice. We are continuously refining our AST conversion models and UI to improve developer ergonomics.

We may also revise these Terms from time to time. When changes occur, the updated date at the top of this page will be revised. Your continued use of Codeflips after revisions indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law & Severability

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with standard international legal principles for electronic services. If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that specific clause shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full legal force and effect.
